Game of Thrones's Pedro Pascal Joins Netflix's Narcos

Pedro Pascal, best known as Oberyn on Game of Thrones, has already signed on to his next project.

Deadline reported last night that Pascal has been cast opposite Wagner Moura in Netflix's upcoming series, Narcos. 

Written by Chris Brancato and directed by RoboCop's Jose Padilha, the series tracks the true story behind the spread of cocaine drug cartels and the lawmen who tried to take them down. Moura will star as Pablo Escobar and Pascal as Javier Pena, a Mexican DEA agent who is sent to Colombia in an attempt to kill Escobar.

Narcos will premiere on Netflix in 2015.
