The Flash: Geoff Johns Teases "It Begins" With Another Look Behind the Scenes

central-city-police-department-the-flash-geoff-johnsAlong with what seems to be our first image from the set of The Flash, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns told his followers on Twitter yesterday afternoon, "It begins."

The image (seen above) isn't particularly spoilery -- it's a file from the Central City Police Department, and in fact could turn out to be a press kit or Comic Con giveaway as easy as it could a prop for the show itself.

Since the studio already confirmed that production will start this week, though, it seems more likely it's a prop from the episode, in which the Central City Police Department will play a significant role--both as Barry Allen's employer and presumably in flashback (no pun intended), dealing with the death of his mother.

gustinflash-8ce05The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton and John Wesley Shipp. It is expected to air on The CW in the fall, likely after a screening at July's San Diego Comic Con International.
