After Jay Leno declared that Robert Downey Jr. was a man at the top of his game, Robert Downey Jr. responded, "Sure, it's all down hill from here." After Robert Downey Jr. relayed a story about Korean fans singing Happy Birthday to him, Jay Leno showed a photo from Downey Jr.'s Korea trip and asked if he noticed anything unusual. Robert Downey Jr. said, "I look like Jerry Lewis." But after Jay Leno said "No," Downey Jr. realized, "Oh yes, my trouser snake, my fly is down." When Jay Leno asked when he realized it, Robert Downey Jr. explained that after he did a Gangnam Style dance, someone ran up on stage and told him that his fly was down. Jay Leno brought up the GQ article where Robert Downey Jr. was quoted as saying he didn't care if he won an Oscar. Leno said he felt Downey Jr. should have won an Oscar for Chaplin. Downey Jr. said, "Well, Jay, I've always loved you. And I'll let Al Pacino know that I should go take his Scent of a Woman Oscar from him. Here's what I'll day, I bet the year that I win, someone else is going to deserve it, and I'm not giving it to them either." As far as doing interviews when promoting Iron Man 3, Robert Downey Jr. said, "When I play Tony Stark, I get a little bit Tony Stark, but I'm not really like that, and my missus goes, 'When are you going to be done promoting this movie, I can't take it anymore.'" Jay Leno asked Robert Downey Jr. when he first met Gwyneth Paltrow. Robert Downey Jr. said, "1992 or something, we were at the Toronto Film Festival. This was a previous incarnation, I was hammered. I tried to get her to, you know, kind of get with me, and I thought I had her in the position, and then strangely it didn't happen." Jay Leno expressed surprise, "It didn't happen?" Downey Jr. answered, "I mean, maybe a little bit, but not what I was expecting."
