The first, full trailer for Dredd (billed as "Dredd 3D" on the ad), the Judge Dredd remake starring Karl Urban and Lena Headey, debuted on G4's Attack of the Show and a fan rip of that performance is now available online. While the trailer will be officially made available soon, the TV version can be seen below. The trailer reportedly leaked last night around midnight, but it's difficult to say whether that's true or not--so few people saw the 1995 Judge Dredd film with Sylvester Stallone that one fan was able to edit their own trailer together using shots from that film, along with brief moments of Dredd footage and whatever else they had lying around. That trailer fooled The UK Film Trailers Online YouTube channel into running it as "Official" and HD. This trailer appears to see Judges Dredd (Karl Urban) and Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) locked in a showdown with the woman who is providing SLO-MO, a popular new drug around which the plot revolves. From the look of it, Dredd is essentially a siege film, with the pair of Judges preparing to take the fight to the drug dealer (played by Headey), who in turn locks down a fortified building and orders her people to kill Dredd and Anderson. There's quite a bit of stylized filmmaking here, as the world of Mega City One, as experienced when you're actually taking SLO-MO, appears as though it was made for the 3D exeprience. To answer the most common question made by fans leading up to this film--no, we don't see Urban's face at all. There's a shot of him from behind, sliding the helmet on, which could go either way, really; Since it's from behind, it could be that we never see Dredd's face and that the filmmakers were trying to be precious about pointing that out to the viewers, or that it's simply the last shot of a preparation sequence which could see an unmasked Urban before making his way into being Dredd.
