John Stamos took to social media over the weekend to ring in his 54th birthday by sharing an incredibly liberating photo.
In honor of his birthday on Saturday, the Scream Queens and Full House star took to Instagram to share a very cheeky snapshot of himself standing in an outdoor shower with his back to the camera and his derriere covered up by a few palm branches.
"[54] and clean," Stamos captioned the photo. "Thanks for the birthday wishes!"
Fans were quick to notice his bare bottom and commented with his signature trademark phrase from Full House, "have mercy," alongside a slew of emojis in hopes to convey their feelings. From the laughing aloud emoji to heart eyes, one fan wrote, "Good way to do it because nothing shouts birthday then being in the suit that you wore on your very first birthday," while another quipped, "Your birthday suit doesn't need pressing."
However, not all of his fans were impressed. One user chimed in, "I hate it when people think its [okay] if your show your but like it's less inappropriate."
Earlier in the day, the newly crowned 54-year-old got sentimental about turning another year older, sharing an image of himself as a child and writing how amazed he is at life.
"It's a wonder just how much of life sits before me eagerly (almost impatiently) waiting to reveal it's gentle, imperfect, often unimaginable beauty," he wrote. "When I've been willing to suspend my judgment, hold my criticism, proactively find the positive, and most importantly embrace wonder, I've found authentic happiness.
