In honor of Superbad's 10th anniversary, actor Seth Rogen took to social media to share some interesting trivia from the comedy, but one connection to MTV reality series, Jersey Shore might surprise fans.

The 35-year-old Canadian actor took to Twitter to tweet out some facts about Superbad on Thursday to celebrate the beloved comedy's decade-long milestone, but it was his factoid about Jersey Shore that really had fans amused.

Nestled deep between facts, some NSFW, Rogen tweeted, "The cast of Jersey Shore confirmed to me that the phrase 'D.T.F' or 'Down To F--k' is from Superbad."

Rogen also admitted that the movie meant a lot to him for two reasons: it was partially autobiographical and that he was able to write more films with his best friend Evan Goldberg thanks to the film's popularity.

When Superbad released in 2007, it was a mega success that turned Hill, Cera and Emma Stone into household names. Rogen and Goldberg went on to write a number of films together, including The Pineapple Express, This Is the End and The Interview.

As for the Jersey Shore cast, their series ended in 2012, but fans can't get enough of the cast. They are now preparing for a reunion documentary-series on E! Network, Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore, which premieres Sunday, Aug. 20 at 9:30 p.m. EST.

This past July, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino revealed that the gang would up to their old hijinks once again, telling Entertainment Tonight a reunion was "100 percent" in the works.

"There is something new and I'm very excited for the viewers to see it," he said.
