This Is Us has tapped That '70s Show star Debra Jo Rupp for its second season, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Rupp played Kitty Forman on the Fox sitcom for eight seasons and will appear on multiple episodes of the NBC drama. The actress will portray a social worker named Linda who helps Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and his wife, Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) explore the possibility of adoption.

Series creator Dan Fogelman shared that Linda is "helping them with their process."

"She's lovely," he added, "but also somebody who's been doing this and knows the reality of it all."

Watson previously told EW that Randall and Beth are not "on the same page" when it comes to the idea, as Randall, who was adopted himself, told his wife during the show's Season 1 finale that he wanted to consider welcoming a third child through adoption.

Along with Rupp, This Is Us Season 2 will also see guest star Sylvester Stallone.

"He's very congenial," series star Chrissy Metz told Entertainment Tonight at Monday's For Your Consideration event of the actor. "He came in the makeup trailer, and he's talking, he's making jokes and he basically knows [co-star] Chris [Sullivan]'s entire resume. It was so cute… He knows people's names, and he just cares and that's super cool 'cause he's a busy guy."

Season 2 of This Is Us premieres Sept. 26.
