Juan Pablo Galavis may have been one of the most controversial bachelors in the history of The Bachelor, but he is officially off the market.

The Bachelor alum married Osmariel Villalobos during an intimate ceremony in Miami over the weekend.

An insider told Us Weekly that "only very close family and friends were invited" to the wedding. "They both wanted to keep the wedding very, very secret," the source revealed. "All their friends and family knew they were going to tie the knot eventually, but it was a surprise to a lot of their family members!"

The bride, 29, shared a photo of her Alejandro Fajardo gown with a lace bodice on Instagram Sunday. She captioned the photo in Spanish, "THANKS to so many people who worked with me in SECRET to make this dream come true. I'm going to start with my LOVED AND ADORED @alejandrofajardovnzla and all his team."

Villalobos posted another photo of herself kissing the 36-year-old reality star alum. "I love you my husband," she wrote in Spanish.

According to the source, their smaller ceremony was only for proper documentation, and they will have another wedding in Venezuela. "The couple could not be more in love," the insider said.

The source adds, "They have that shared understanding and bond, being from a similar culture."

The couple started dating in summer 2016 and have been "crazy" about each other ever since. The Venezuelan beauty queen also gets along with Galavis' 8-year-old daughter Camila.

Galavis was brought to fame during season 18 of The Bachelor in 2014 when he gave Nikki Ferrell his final rose, but did not propose. The former couple ultimately broke up later that year.
