Criminal Minds has seen its fair share of casting shake-ups over the past few seasons, and series star Paget Brewster dished a bit on the seemingly revolving door of actors that have appeared on the CBS show in recent years while speaking to TV Line at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.

"It's always hard when someone is gone, whether by choice or not by their choice… but you roll with it," she shared.

The star added that since the cast is so close, "you can't not miss the people who are gone."

After leaving the show and then returning as a series regular, Brewster admitted that her re-entrance to the BAU weighed on her a bit last year as she went from a short-term return to full-time star once again after longtime series star Thomas Gibson was fired from the show.

"The con was the situation in which it happened, which was Thomas Gibson no longer being with the show," she said. "That was unfortunate."

Brewster acknowledged that the show is "a wacky place," but added, "I'm really happy to be back."
