Marvel fans are excited to see The Marvel Cinematic Universe culminate in the epic event that is Avengers: Infinity War, and part of that excitement is getting to see an epic villain in the form of Josh Brolin's Thanos!
We know that Thanos will be a deeper and more complex villain than we're used to seeing in Marvel Cinematic Universe films - but that doesn't mean he doesn't have some basic evil archvillain schemes to unfold! We know that Thanos' goal is to "re-balance" the universe - and to do that, he needs the MCU's greatest power: The Infinity Stones.
Marvel fans have been waiting a long time to see Thanos' conquest of the universe using The Infinity Gauntlet - and no one knows better how eager they are than Josh Brolin himself! After fielding years and years of questions about playing Thanos in the MCU (nearly half a decade by the time Avengers: Infinity War is out), Brolin is now having a little fun, by "promoting" Thanos' Infinity War story arc with a funny, 8-bit video game-style post on Instagram:
Were we shameless instigators (as we're often accused of being), we could throw out headlines like "Josh Brolin Confirms Color of Final MCU Infinity Stone!" (Orange); but we're not in a trolling mood today. The actor probably posted this just to have a little fun with the fanbase - so that's exactly how we're going to take.
Still, we do need to know the final color, location, and power set of that Soul Infinity Stone, Marvel Studios...
Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018. The film has a 4.28/5 anticipation ranking with our users - putting it just slightly ahead of DC's Justice League. Let us know your Avengers excitement level by rating the film below!
