In a recent lawsuit against her former management company regarding her health insurance, Shannen Doherty came out victorious.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star alleged that the accounting firm had mismanaged her money, and that they were responsible for her health insurance lapsing in 2014. The suit was filed in August of 2015 against Tanner Mainstain Glynn & Johnson and one of the company's former partners. Because of the health insurance snafu, Doherty claims that her breast cancer diagnosis was delayed.

Doherty and the firm reached a settlement on Friday that is contingent upon conditions that must be met within 45 days, according to E Online. The settlement amount and conditions of the agreement were not disclosed to the public.

The 45-year-old actress has been documenting her experience in battling breast cancer, and has taken her fight to the public eye after she first shared photos of when her friends shaved her head while undergoing chemotherapy. She captioned the photos with "#cancersucks" and "#thankgodforfriends."

Throughout her battle, Doherty has also been praising her husband for his continual support. Since receiving the diagnosis, Doherty told her fans on Instagram that her marriage to Kurt Iswarienko has only become stronger.

A good friend of Doherty's, Sarah Michele Gellar, posted a photo on Instagram with this touching caption: "My #MondayMuse (and really every day #Muse) is my brave friend @theshando. I've always said she is one of the most loyal friends I've ever known, and now while she is facing the toughest journey of her life, she is sharing it with friends she has never met in the hopes of helping other people who are going through the same struggle."

Doherty's cancer diagnosis was first revealed after she filed the lawsuit against her former accounting firm. She then went on to undergo chemotherapy and have a mastectomy.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Shannen Doherty and her family.
