Conor McGregor And Nate Diaz Lock In Multimillion Dollar Payday After Fight

On Saturday, Conor McGregor came out victorious against Nate Diaz in a brutally hard fought battle, but both will be going home with much deeper pockets.

McGregor made a record breaking $3 million for the rematch against Diaz, as previously reported ahead of UFC 202. The Irish fighter thwarted Diaz's efforts in a majority decision, but don't cry for Diaz just yet. Diaz took home a $2 million paycheck, according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The fight represented the largest total purse for any one fight in UFC history with McGregor and Diaz bringing in a combined $5 million. Both fighters also earned a $50,000 reward for being a part of the "Fight of the Night" at UFC 202 as well, according to Fox Sports.

Judging by this vine posted after the fight, Conor McGregor may be using some of those winnings to get his leg taken care taken care of by the doctors. The fighter is seen walking around on crutches and favoring his leg. Rumors were going around that he broke his foot, but he denied such allegations and stated that his shin was just bothering him from kicking Diaz so much.
