One man in Arizona decided he needed to make some serious changes to his life after he took a trip to the doctor where he weighed in at 605 pounds. His doctor warned him of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and Pasquale "Pat Brocco went directly from that appointment to begin a journey to a healthier lifestyle.

31-year-old Brocco immediately threw out all of the junk food in his house, and took a photo of himself in the mirror. "My stomach was down to my thighs," Pat recalled. "My chest was hanging down here," he told ABC news as he pointed to his stomach. "I was disgusted."

Pat then decided the first way he was going to lose weight was to walk 1 mile to the nearest Walmart, and then back home to eat his meal. He was able to lose 200 pounds in less than two years.

"You walk to Walmart three times a day, and you end up walking 6 miles," Pat stated. "It's amazing because I never walked 6 miles in my life, and I was doing it every day."

Brocco then tried to learn what foods were negating his efforts to lose weight. "Once I figured out dairy was my downfall, I took it out of my diet, and instantly I started losing weight again." He also discovered that eating foods like vegetables, meats, sweet potatoes, quinoa and steel-cut oatmeal were the best replacements into his dietary regimen.

After spending time walking to Walmart for his meals, Pat made the transition to exercising on the treadmill at the gym. Because of the drastic weight loss, Brocco is now able to lift weights and use the gym equipment that he was not able to at 600 pounds. "I mean, at 600 pounds, I couldn't even go to the gym," Pat stated. "I didn't fit on the machines."

Brocco is now 330 pounds lighter and has mentioned that his nickname is no longer "Fat Pat." Part of the motivation for Brocco has been to be a role model for his 1-year-old son. "I'm setting an example for my son so he can be Possible Pat too," Brocco said as he fought through tears.

Congrulations to Pat Brocco on his remarkable journey in shedding 330 pounds.
