*NSYNC is finally back together again. Band members Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez reunited to celebrate Chasez's 40th birthday. While there is no new music expected from the group that we know about, it was nice to see the Grammy nominated boy band back together once again.

Justin Timberlake shared a the picture above on Instagram with his 33.3 million followers late on Monday night with the caption: "JC's 40th...And, if you don't know now you know..." JC is the second member of the boy band now in their 40's. Kirkpatrick is 44, Fatone is 39, Bass is 37, and Timberlake is 35.

Kirkpatrick also posted about Chasez' birthday by tweeting an old photo and writing, "Happy birthday @JCChasez! Welcome to the old man club!"

*NSYNC broke up back in 2002 and have only reunited on several occasions. In 2013, the "Bye Bye Bye" singers joined in for a 90-second reunion during Justin Timberlake's MTV VMA Video Vanguard Performance.

Chasez told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show about the VMA performance, "Two minutes after seeing everybody you feel like no time has passed." He continued, "Essentially everybody has remained the same. And again, we all see each other at different times, working on different things, but this is the first time that we had a rehearsal together in over 10 years. So everybody's going, 'Can we go through this slowly one more time?' That part was pretty funny."

After the VMA performance, rumors of a reunion occasionally resurfaced, but nothing ever came to fruition. Fatone told The Huffington Post, "It was fun, it was interesting, but I don't know if it's ever going to happen again." He continued, "I don't know whether or not something will ever happen again, but again, you always say 'never say never' because that happened. That was never gonna happen, and all of a sudden it did happen."
