The sixth season of Game of Thrones was terrific, especially the final two episodes. For fans of Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage), like myself, we got to see him once again show off his mentality acuity. He began by brokering a deal with his former slave master Yezzan zo Qaggaz, the Yunkai Wise Master Razdal mo Eraz, and the Volantene triarch Belicho Paenymion to bring a brief stability to the city of Meereen, and then asked Kinvara, High Priestess of the Red Temple of Volantis, to support Daenerys Targaryen; however, my two favorite moments were when Tyrion convinced Missandei and Grey Worm to loosen up -- tell some jokes, drink some wine -- and Daenerys named him Hand of the Queen.

As we prepare for a long wait until the seventh season arrives, watch this phenomenal super-cut video YouTuber, TheGaroStudios, put togeher. It shows Tyrion's six-season journey from cynic to believer.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues. It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere on HBO in 2017.
