26-year-old actress Margot Robbie has revealed what it was like to film a sex scene with Leonardo DiCaprio, as it turns out it is actually pretty "awkward." In 2013 film, The Wolf of Wall Street, Robbie portrayed the love interest, Naomi Lapglia, to Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Jordan Belfort. Robbie revealed details regarding the sex scenes with DiCaprio during an interview with Vanity Fair.

"Actually I hadn't done a proper sex scene before," Robbie stated to Vinyl co-creator Rich Cohen in an interview released Wednesday. "I'd done scenes where it's leading into sex or sex has just finished, but I hadn't done a start-to-finish sex scene like I did in Wolf. That was my first." Robbie commented that acting out a passionate love scene in front of "tons of people" is just as uncomfortable as you might imagine.

Robbie recalled, "There isn't an option. It's just like, this is what you need to do - get on with it. The sooner you do it, the sooner you can stop doing it. It's so awkward."

The actress also dished on The Wolf of Wall Street's explicit scenes before, telling the Daily Beast about the difficulty of filming the scene where she and DiCaprio have sex on a large pile of cash.

"I got a million paper cuts on my back from all that money! It's not as glamorous as it sounds," Robbie mentioned. "If anyone is ever planning on having sex on top of a pile of cash: don't. Or maybe real money is a bit softer, but the fake money is like paper, and when I got up off the bed, I turned around to get my robe and everyone gasped. I said, 'What is it?' And they said, 'You look like you've been whipped a million times. Your back is covered in a thousand red scratches."

While talking to Vanity Fair, Robbie also talked about her new role for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. "[Harley Quinn] loves causing mayhem and destruction," she stated. "She's incredibly devoted to the Joker. They have a dysfunctional relationship, but she loves him anyway."
