Insidious: Chapter 4 Set For October 2017 Release

Blumhouse Pictures has revealed that it will be releasing a fourth installment of its terrifying Insidious franchise.

Insidious: Chapter 4 will be directed by franchise newcomer Adam Robitel (The Taking of Deborah Logan) and written by co-creator Leigh Whannell. Whannell previously directed Insidious: Chapter 3 in 2015.

Chapter 4 is set for release on October 20, 2017.

Jason Blum, Oren Peli and co-creator James Wan will producer while Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Charles Layton will serve as executive producers. Also returning is franchise star Lin Share, who stars a parapsychologist Elise Rainier.

2015's Chapter 3 grossed $113 million worldwide with a June release.
