First Punisher TV Series Teaser Released

Marvel and Netflix have released the first teaser for the upcoming The Punisher TV series. Spinning out of Marvel's Daredevil Season 2, the new series will continue Frank Castle's one man war on crime.

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as the titular vigilante. Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal) will serve as Executive Producer and Showrunner. He will also write the first two episodes of the new series.

The Punisher is the first new series added to Netflix's Marvel slate since the initial deal between the companies was struck. It will be the sixth series overall, following Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and The Defenders crossover miniseries.

Marvel and Netflix have not yet revealed a release window for the series.
