Chris Evans Says He'd Want To Fight As Captain America Along Side The Human Torch

Before Chris Evans was Captain America, he was The Human Torch in Tim Story's pair of not-quite-Marvel-ous Fantastic Four movies.

And now, a decade later, when asked what Marvel character he'd want to have his back in Captain America: Civil War, Evans proposed...himself.

"I would take Johnny Storm," Evans said to cheers and laughter during a panel at Wizard World New Orleans today which was broadcast live on ConTV. "But I would take that because I just like the guy. I think he's fun. It would be fun to fight with him. I think he'd be cracking jokes and having a good time, and I just want to hang out with him, really."

Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.
