Happy Birthday! Sigourney Weaver Turns 66 Today

Happy birthday, Sigourney Weaver! The actress is celebrating her 66th birthday today.

Weaver, who starred in this year's Neill Blomkamp film, Chappie, played the resourceful action hero Ellen Ripley in Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection. She also played Dana Barrett in the two original Ghostbusters films - she'll also be popping up in the female driven reboot next year!

Prior to fame, Weaver attended both Stanford University and Yale University. Smarty pants! The next time we'll see Weaver following the Ghostbusters reboot will be in A Monster Calls, but we're all looking forward to her reprising her Ellen Ripley role in the 2017's Alien installment, followed by her return to the Avatar franchise for 3 sequels starting that same year.
