Justin Timberlake Cast In Dreamworks Animation's Trolls

Dreamworks Animation has cast Justin Timberlake in their late 2016 animated musical, Trolls.

Deadline has revealed that Timberlake's character, Branch, is described as "a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors." The film itself, is based on the formerly popular Troll dolls with wild hair styles and colors, like the one Peter Quill keeps on the Milano. Trolls will "for the first time tells the story behind the beloved Trolls and their gravity defying and colorful manes," DWA says.

Timberlake joins Pitch Perfect franchise star Anna Kendrick in the Trolls musical set for release November 4, 2016, the same day as Doctor Strange.
