Michael Cera To Voice Robin in LEGO Batman

The LEGO Batman spinoff movie will feature Scott Pilgrim vs. the World star Michael Cera as Robin, reuniting him with his Arrested Development castmate Will Arnett, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are producing. Chris McKay, the animation supervisor on Lego Movie, will direct from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies fame.

The big franchise gig will apparently help keep the lights on for Cera while he works on his career as a writer and director, having just acquired the rights to True Grit author Charles Portis' Masters of Atlantis, in which he will also star.

The LEGO Batman Movie will open February 10, 2017.
