Prison Break Limited Series With Wentworth Miller And Dominic Purcell In The Works

The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller will reunite yet again -- this time for a miniseries based on their once-popular TV series Prison Break.

The show ran from 2005 to 2009 on FOX and is the latest in a series of shows including Arrested Development, Twin Peaks and The X-Files to return for a revival years after their ostensible season finales.

TVLine reports that the series will be similar to FOX's recent revival of 24, in that it "would span a dozen or so episodes and feature a closed-ended storyline." Following the success of 24: Live Another Day, another new (also shortened) season of the series is expected soon as well.

The report also notes that there were no concrete plans as of the time of the Television Critics Awards in January to revive Prison Break, although multiple parties suggested that there had been talks.
