True Detective Season 2 Animated Poster Released

HBO has released a new animated teaser poster for True Detective's second season.

In True Detective Season 2, a bizarre murder brings together three law-enforcement officers and a career criminal, each of whom must navigate a web of conspiracy and betrayal in the scorched landscapes of California. Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch star.

True Detective is written and created by Nic Pizzolatto. The first two episodes of Season 2 are directed by Justin Lin.

True Detective Season 2 premieres Sunday, June 21 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
