Jennifer Lawrence Wins Favorite Movie Actress, Action Movie Actress at People's Choice Awards

While it didn't make tonight's telecast, X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence took home a pair of trophies at the People's Choice Awards, mirroring the two that Robert Downey, Jr. took home.

In Lawrence's case, she won Favorite Movie Actress for her body of work, and Favorite Action Movie Actress, specifically for the two films mentioned above.

They were her only two nominations.

The People's Choice Awards is an awards show wherein fans vote for the nominees, categories and the winners. It's also the first awards show of the year, which means a number of the winners will be taking the stage for the first of many times out between now and the Academy Awards.

While it's unlikely Lawrence will be nominated for one this year, Lawrence has already got an Oscar in her back pocket.
